Our Philosophy

We believe children learn best through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences. Our curriculum blends meaningful activities with fun — developing life skills, communication, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence while children enjoy every step of the journey.

Our Chairperson

Mrs. Zahida Kousar

Chairperson

With over 40 years of dedicated experience in education, she brings a lifetime of wisdom, compassion, and academic excellence to Pebbles & Petals Pre-School. Holding M.A. English, M.Ed., and B.Ed. qualifications, she retired as a Senior Lecturer English from DIET Kishtwar after an illustrious career devoted to nurturing young minds and mentoring future educators.

Over the years, she has taught at Higher Secondary School Girls and Boys as well as at the college level, earning the admiration and respect of hundreds of students and colleagues alike. As the District Coordinator for B.Ed. students, she played a pivotal role in guiding aspiring teachers, strengthening educational standards, and promoting excellence in teacher training.

At Pebbles & Petals, she serves as Chairperson, helping shape the school's educational philosophy, curriculum, and teaching practices. Her belief that every child deserves a joyful, caring, and inspiring start to learning reflects the values at the heart of our preschool.
